-A Little Inconvenient Vacation Rental-
“Am I on the right road?”
“Is this a dead end?”
You might feel a little uneasy as you drive down this single road, but at the end of it,
you’ll find the place where we await your arrival.
In an era overflowing with material wealth,
it’s easy to overlook small joys and warm human connections.
Here, you won’t need your smartphone or even cell service.
Time flows leisurely, as if the chatty “Ojii” and “Obaa” from the neighborhood might drop by for a visit.
Compared to the city, it might be a little inconvenient.
But we believe that this very inconvenience can bring peace of mind and
the energy to face tomorrow. Just surrender to the flow of time and
let the gentle breeze of Yanbaru envelop you.
You’ll feel your heart lighten as you experience nature through all five senses.
We created “Goen” hoping it would be a place where you can feel
a renewed sense of positivity, thinking,
“I can do my best again tomorrow.”
-Origin of the Name-
Goen Kantina Villa
Goen
(In Japanese, “Goen” refers to the unseen, warm bond and heart-to-heart connection that forms
between people. We hope the encounters here will be a “Goen” that positively impacts your life.)
+
Kantina
(Derives from the fact that this area was once called “Kantina” during the Ryukyu Kingdom era.
Experience the leisurely pace of a place steeped in history.)
+
Villa
(From the Latin word for a “farm or residence away from the city” in ancient Roman times.
We aspire for it to be a place where you can forget the daily hustle
